• Classes and other events

  • EGC Gnostic Mass Novitiate Orientation – To be rescheduled for May/June

  • Ideas from last community meeting

  • Will offer more social events

    • Only needs one host to take responsibility for organizing

    • Includes: BBQs, cocktail parties, bowling, karaoke, etc.

• Volunteers – appreciate the new folks

• Drug policy reminder – Doug B reminded it’s for the safety of individuals as well as for the OTO

• Facility Committee findings

  • Determined we need 1200-1500 sq. feet

  • 800-900 sq. feet of open space

  • Need a kitchen, bath, parking, good location

  • Will consider traffic and zoning issues

  • Ideas: Capital funds account for the space? Invest in CDs?

  • Idea: consult fire marshal to find out how many legal people per sq. foot of space?

  • Idea: have more fundraisers?

• Cleaning Agreement

  • Ken is in charge

  • Ken- email about 2nd option for cleaning, maybe weekends, maybe after Mass (when it’s not a heavy day)

  • Ken will make a cleanup checklist

• Future HCMs – to be held quarterly until we see a need to change.  Next meeting is July 25th after Mass.

• Status of Horizon Oasis becoming Non Profit – Have filed paperwork with Grand Lodge

• Dues paying members - 16

• Treasury report - $1455 savings, $2192 checking

• Idea: find old file that listed what we have vs. what we need in the library for initiation study guide materials?

  • Calendar updated all the time – check it out

  • New ‘How To’ page

• Initiation equipment and upgrade

• Information sheets for Minervals – handed out with applications

• Adding information to the Degree Study Guides

• Ideas: Associate program for the website (ex: link for selling books on Amazon)
